Job title: European Store Operations Manager
1. Job purpose
The European Store Operations Manager is responsible for providing input to and the execution of the retail business plan for all ASICS Retail Stores with respect to store openings, budget planning and providing support and guidance to the Area Manager and Store Managers across Europe.
2. Position in the organisation
Reports to the Retail Operations Manager. In his/her absence is replaced by the Retail Operations Manager on decisions which cannot be postponed.
3. Result fields
Retail Operating Standards (30%)
- Monitor, guide and assist stores in managing day to day operations through developing and maintaining Policies and Procedures and Store operations manuals.
- Maximize productivity and profitability with quarterly updates to ensure a consistent level of operational standards and performance of Retail Stores.
Commercial and Financial operations (25%)
- Provide input to the annual stores budget and retail business plan incl. KPI performance goals. Set and develop the budgets for the Store Managers that effectively allocates resources to meet financial and business objectives.
- Lead and support programs to enhance sales in all Stores. This includes but is not limited to mystery shopper programs, loyalty programs, employee motivation programs, training programs, etc.
- Continually monitor the revenues and P & L for all stores and identify issues and opportunities that would generate higher sales and profit and/or more efficiency.
- Together with the Retail Operations Manager organize two Store Managers meetings per year.
Attendance of all Store Managers/Retail Managers conference calls meetings.
Store Openings (20%)
- Lead and drive the coordination of new store openings and the milestone meetings for assigned stores ensuring timely follow up of action items for opening successfully on time and with in budget.

Job title: Merchandise Coordinator
1. Job purpose
To plan, execute and monitor the product allocation for the ASICS stores during current and upcoming seasons in order to hit the sales targets set for the year. Weekly store KPI’s report creation.
2. Position in the organisation
Reports to the Retail Merchandise Manager.
In his/her absence is replaced by the Retail Merchandise Manager or Buyer on decisions which cannot be postponed.
3. Result fields
(35%) Replenishment
• Regular weekly reviews of sales and stock for all stores.
• Run weekly replenishment at style, color and size level and ensure of timely weekly deliveries in the stores. Review, monitor and adjust replenishment results.
• Once replenishment orders are created, sent to customer service and returned to check that orders are in Navision at total and size level.
• Discuss and agree with Merchandise Manager any other required actions for the week.
• Highlight any delivery issues to Operations Specialist and Store Managers before stock arrives at store, with potential solutions ready to action.
• Weekly review of prop availability with Merchandise Planner and action where necessary to maximize sale opportunity.
• Set and maintain replenishment parameters.
• Maintain product master file, price file, attributes product hierarchy etc.
(25%) Load ins and Seasonal Order entry:
• Execute the product load in plans, working closely with Buyers/Planners, Customer Service to successfully plan and deliver the new merchandise for each season and the subsequent phasing to the stores.
• Support Buyer with Seasonal Order entry tasks.
• Execute the conversion of the orders into the retail systems, ensuring the integrity of the original assortment plan is protected in the product flow process.
(20%) Communication:
• Delivers to the Retail Team and the relevant Company Managers the weekly KPI store report.
• Manage communication on all issues relating to product flow, sales and replenishment between Retail Ops, customer service, supply chain, logistics, IT ,Store Managers (Area Managers) in the regions and all relevant AEB departments.
• Liaise with store managers and gather trading feedback
• Attend weekly conference calls with the relevant parties.
(10%) Store openings.
• Using guidance from Merchandising Manager and Buyers to ensure that all load ins are input correctly and in sufficient time to guarantee required delivery dates. Maintain stock build packages for new store launches
(10%) Problem Solving
• Ensure any related areas that impact on the effectiveness of product flow that are outside Retail AEB remit – such as pricing, warehouse shipments, – are highlighted to the responsible area and escalated accordingly.
• Accountable for ongoing maintenance of all areas of future Retail Merchandise Management System by making sure all settings drive right stock allocation.

1. Job Purpose
To execute the accounts receivable administration of ASICS Europe in a correct and timely fashion.
To control the accounts receivable so as to optimise results for ASICS Europe’s accounts receivable position.

3. Result fields
Accounts receivable administration
- Receives and registers the incoming manufacturing invoices.
- Collects the orders from the business system and registers and controls them using the data on the purchase invoices.
- Draws up sales invoices and encloses the relevant original documents.
- Duplicates invoices, separates them from the original, and submits invoices and corresponding documentation for control and signature to the Assistant Manager Group Accounting.
- Dispatches invoices and corresponding documentation to client.
- Registers dispatch and files the invoices and documentation dispatched.
- Draws up debit and credit notes for future recovery and crediting and submits these to the Assistant Manager Group Accounting for control.
- Processes operational requests from departments.
Accounts receivable management
- Monitors payment terms and maintains contacts with debtors.
